Tips for healthy hair

Here are a few tips for healthy hair. Maintain healthy hair and stay beautiful/handsome for ever. Look young too by maintaining healthy hair!
1. Shampoo for cleansing your scalp
Shampoo can be home-made so you can make your own shampoo, this can be a mixture of reetha, amla, shikakai which you need to soak overnight and boil the mixture the next morning till the half of it remains behind. Further cool it and strain off the vegetative matter and this can work as the best shampoo for your scalp.

2. Conditioning your hair
Mayonnaise acts as a good conditioner for your hair and all you need to do is apply half a cup of it on the hair and leave it for 15 minutes by covering it with a plastic bag. You can then wash them with a shampoo.
Using rose-water on the hair shaft helps in treating dry hair problems. Also you can apply a mixture of olive oil and honey to a ripe papaya mash and apply it on your hair and shampoo the hair after an hour.
If you have got oily hair then this is what you should do, apply a mixture of multani mitthi, amla, reetha and shikakai and shampoo it after 40 mins.

3. Dry your hair in a careful manner.
Blow dryers can be more benefiting than air-drying if you use them correctly. When you blow dry your hair, put it on a coolsetting and hold distance it away to protect it from any heat. If you hold the blow dryer too close, the water in your hair can begin to boil. This is why hair dryers are known to be bad, but if you use it correctly it is very good. If you can, avoid drying your hair with heat as much as you can; it will only age your hair.

4. Avoid brushing your hair while it’s wet. Wet hair is stretchier and has a tendency to break. Also, don’t brush your hair too much. People say that brushing your hair 100 strokes a day will make it smoother — but it will only cause breakage to your hair.

5. Using castor oil for hair loss has been proven to be beneficial since ages and so one can go for its regular application to prevent hair loss problem.
-Almond oil works greatly on the hair and adds shine and lustre on it. It helps to a great extent in nourishing your hair and also in smoothening the hair cuticles. It helps in making your hair healthy and beautiful and adds shine to your hair.

6. Eat healthy foods that will keep your hair strong and lustrous. Your diet can also prevent hair loss.
– Essential fatty acids, especially omega-3 fatty acids, promote healthy skin, hair and nails. You should eat some of these foods, which are rich in omega-3, every day:
Salmon, tuna, mackerel, and other fatty
-Flax seed oil, Walnuts, almonds, and milk

– Vitamins B-6, B-12, and folic acid are also important to your hair. You can always take a multivitamin to get more of these nutrients, but you can also add foods rich in these vitamins to your diet.
– Vitamin B-6: bananas, potatoes (both white and sweet) and spinach.
– Vitamin B-12: , poultry,and dairy products.
– Folic acid: citrus fruits, tomatoes, whole grain and fortified grain products, beans and lentils.
